Blizzard of 2026
Dear CSA Neighbors,
I am writing as Chairman of the CSA Roads and Grounds Committee to provide an update on the post storm situation at Carleton Shores.
Currently all roads within Carleton Shores are accessible. A group of neighborhood volunteers have been working since early Monday morning to clear trees and fallen branches from our roads so the Town would be able to get in to plow. We have also engaged outside help that was available.
For those of you who were not here during the storm, it was as intense as any I have experienced in our 25 years here. Many trees were down in our association and power lines were down on two of our roads. We have been in contact with Eversource and the Town DPW since the beginning. No power and no internet until late Wednesday made things difficult but we did our best to ensure safety within CSA.
I want to thank everyone for their understanding and patience and a huge THANK YOU to all who pitched in to help (you know who you are) clear roads and driveways for the neighborhood, and checked on each other.
Currently the neighborhood looks like a disaster with trees and limbs down, biggest snowbanks I have seen from plowing, and a lot of cleanup to be done. We are working to contract with companies to clear the debris from the CSA property and appreciate your patience going forward.
Regards,
Mike Myers
CSA Roads and Grounds Committee
